2022

October 2022: FDA gives $1.3M grant to Biologics & Biosimilars Collective Intelligence Consortium

2021

February 2021: We are pleased to announce that the manuscript - BBCIC Research Network Analysis of First-Cycle Prophylactic G-CSF Use in Patients Treated with High Neutropenia Risk Chemotherapy – has been accepted for publication in the Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. 

January 2021: We are pleased to announce that the manuscript - Patient Characteristics and Utilization Patterns of Short-Acting Recombinant Granulocyte Colony-Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) Biosimilars Compared to Their Reference Product - has been published in the journal Drugs – Real World Outcomes.  

Two BBCIC abstracts have been accepted for poster presentation at AMCP 2021:  

  • Utilization patterns and characteristics of patients treated with the originator and follow-on insulin glargine in the United States. Presenting author Young Hee Nam, PhD, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare Institute post-doctoral fellow. 

  • Characterization of real-world data sources to support observational studies of biologics, including biosimilars in oncology. [Bronze medal winner]. Presenting author Ryan M. Seals, ScD, epidemiologist at Optum Life Sciences.

November 2020:  We are pleased to announce that the manuscript - Utilization Patterns and Characteristics of Users of Biologic Anti-Inflammatory Agents in a Large, US Commercially Insured Population has been accepted for publication in the journal Pharmacology Research and Perspectives.

September 2020: On September 16 & 17, 2020, Executive Director of BBCIC Cate Lockhart presented a poster on variations in evaluations of granulocyte colony stimulating factor use at the ICPE All Access virtual meeting. Learn more.
